Hat Ranch Elk Hunts
We offer excellent elk hunting opportunities in the Big Horn Mountains west of Kaycee, Wyo. Hunt on over 10,000 acres of private ranch land at elevations of 6000 to 8500 feet. Some truly outstanding bull elk are seen and taken every year in this area. We help numerous hunters every year succeed in taking a trophy bull elk and having a wonderful hunting experience.
Our accommodations are a rustic cow camp with log cabins. No electricity. Coleman lanterns and a wood stove provide a true hunting atmosphere at an 8200 foot elevation. Hunts are by four wheel drive pickups in some of the most beautiful and breathtaking mountain scenery the Big Horn Mountains have to offer.
The price of a Five day bull elk hunt in 2024 is 6500.00
Applications for a hunting license from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department are accepted from January 1st thru January 31st of every year.
